Services Performed
- Inspected and Found – There is excessive play in the track bar bushings. This may be causing the odd steering feeling, however, we believe that there is likely an issue with the steering gear box as well. Recommend starting with the track bar first. There is very slight play in the right front upper ball joint. The right front differential output seal is leaking. This requires the differential carrier to come out, then both inner seals should be replaced at that time. The right front axle u-joint cap is spinning on 3 of the caps. It will need a new right front axle assembly. We will not be able to service this portion of the recommendations.
- ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT – Remove & Replace – In-Line6 – [Includes: Serpentine and V-Belt type Belt(s).]
- TRACK BAR BUSHINGS – Remove & Replace
- STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – Recirculating Ball Type Gears – [Includes: Adjust toe-in on Rack and Pinion type Steering Gears. NOTE: Deduct .4 if alignment is also performed.]
- Freight
- COOLING SYSTEM – Clean & Flush – Tier II
- Lube, Oil, Filter
- FUEL FILTER & WATER SEPARATOR – Remove & Replace – Both
- Inspected & Found – After today's services, the transmission, brake, and transfer case fluids are starting to get dark. All of the other vehicle fluids are full and in good condition. The belt is new today. The coolant hoses are in good condition. Front and rear brakes are all at about 70% remaining.
