Now the vehicle will not even crank. Drop off. Inspected and Found – We found no communication with the original TCM, but the car would move. After installing the new TCM, we now had communication with it, but the vehicle would die when put in to gear. We programmed the new TCM and now the vehicle starts, runs, and drives as it should.

Inspected and Found – We found the reductant pressure will not get above 32psi. We have verified power and ground is good to the pump. The pump is faulty and will need to be replaced.
REDUCTANT FLUID PUMP – Remove & Replace – Diesel
Inspected & Found – All of the vehicle fluids, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. Both front and rear brakes have approx. 80% remaining. The lower oil pan gasket is leaking. The passenger side CV axle boot is torn and throwing grease.

Inspected and Found – The vehicle did not die for us. The positive battery terminal was loose. The nut was tight, but the terminal end was not pushed down on the post far enough. We properly tightened the terminal.
Inspected & Found – The transmission and transfer case fluids are getting dark. All of the other vehicle fluids are full and in good condition. The tune up items were due for service at 100K miles. The belts and coolant hoses are in good condition. Front and rear brakes are all at about 80% remaining.

Inspected & Found – The transmission fluid is very dark and should be serviced. A tune-up is due every 60k miles. All of the other vehicle fluids, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. The front brakes have approx. 30% remaining. The rear brakes have approx. 50% remaining. The air filter is dirty and should be replaced. The exhaust VVT (Variable Valve Timing) solenoid seal is leaking. The tires are worn down and should be replaced before the winter season sets in.

Inspected and Found – We were able to hear the noise when we started the engine. Noise is definitely either timing chain slack or a VVT camshaft phaser. Would need to replace at minimum the chain tensioners and phasers. Once apart we would also inspect the chains and guides which may also need to be replaced.

Wheel Alignment
Inspected & Found – Front brakes have approximately 10% remaining and are wearing unevenly, will need new calipers, pads and rotors. Rear brakes have approximately 50%. Transmission fluid is getting dark and should be flushed. All other fluids, serpentine belt and hoses are in good shape at this time. The power steering pressure hose is leaking and should be replaced. The transmission cooler line connectors in the radiator are leaking which would require a new radiator to fix.
