The transmission fluid is getting dark and should be serviced in the near future. All of the vehicle fluids and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. Both outer tie rod ends have play. The front sway bar bushings have play. The front crank seal is seeping.

2016 RAM 2500 HD
Mileage84,296Service Date12/29/2025Services Performed- Inspected and Found – We found codes P20E8 (Reductant Pressure Too Low), and P0073 (Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit High). The P20E8 is causing the message for reduced power. We removed the reductant injector from the exhaust and found that the reductant pump will run, however, does not produce the required pressure for the injector to inject. We will need to replace the supply pump to correct this issue. When removing the injector from the exhaust, the bolts for it broke off and will need to be drilled out and replaced.
- REDUCTANT FLUID PUMP – Remove & Replace – In-Line6,Pickup
- Inspected & Found – The transfer case and rear differential fluids are getting dark. All of the other vehicle fluids are full and in good condition. The belts and coolant hoses are in good condition. Front brakes are at about 80% remaining. Rear brakes are at about 20% remaining with uneven wear. The ball joints have play. The left front steering joint is worn and should be replaced when the ball joints are replaced. There is a vibration at speed that is likely being caused by this axle joint.
