    • Inspected and Found – We did not hear the noise on the test drive, however, the front bakes are down to about 10-15%. They are wearing even, so as long as the caliper pistons push back in smoothly, it will only need new pads and rotors. Rear brakes are at about 50% remaining.

    • Inspected and Found – The A/C on initial testing was putting out 47°F air from the vents. While this is cool, it is not as cold as it should be. We verified that the viscous fan clutch is working as it should. The system charge was less than half of what it should be. We performed an evacuation and recharge of the system. It passed the leak test at this time. Afterwards, we retested the air temperature at the vents and found it to be 40°F.

    • Inspected and Found – Found code P2138-Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APP) 1/2 correlation stored in PCM memory. Cleared code and drove vehicle which never acted up for us. Tested APP and related circuits and found them all intact and signals correct. While watching scan data we could see APP 2 signal drop out intermittently but the drop out was not present on the lab scope which was backprobed into the PCM connector. Found an aftermarket device that was piggybacked into the APP connector. After removing this device the drop out did not seem as bad. Drove vehicle again with no codes or problems occurring. Recommend leaving the aftermarket device unhooked and see if the problem occurs again. If it does then the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) will likely need to be replaced.
    • Lube, Oil, Filter
    • Tire Rotation w/LOF
    • Inspected & Found – Front brakes have approximately 70% remaining and rear has 80%. All fluids are in good condition at this time but the coolant and brake fluids are due for service by vehicle age. Spark plugs are due for replacement according to manufacturer specifications. Serpentine belt and cooling system hoses are also in good condition.

    • Inspected and Found – We found codes P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1), P06DD (Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Stuck Off), & P0128 (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature). Replacing the thermostat will take care of P0128. P06DD refers to a faulty oil pressure sensor. This sensor is located in the engine oil cooler. The engine oil cooler assembly is leaking, and recommend replace both items at the same time. Cylinder #4 is misfiring. We will be able to diagnose this when the oil cooler is replaced. The code P0420 refers to a faulty bank 1 catalytic converter, which will need to be replaced, but don't recommend addressing until the other items are taken care of.
    • Inspected & Found – The brake and power steering fluids are very dark and should be serviced. The belt is showing signs of wear. A tune-up may be due based off of mileage. All of the other vehicle fluids and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. The front brakes have approx. 50% remaining The rear brakes have approx. 20% remaining The transmission cooler lines are leaking onto the transmission and will need to replaced.

    • Inspected and Found – We found codes P0205 (Cyl. # 5 Injector Open), P0305 (Cyl. #5 Misfire), and P219A (Bank 1 Air/Fuel Ratio Imbalance). There is a dead miss on Cyl. #5. We believe it is a failed injector, but will need to pull the plenum to test at the injector itself.
    • FUEL INJECTOR – Remove & Replace – Cyl. #5 – [Includes: R&I Intake Plenum Gasket.]
    • Inspected & Found – The power steering brake fluids are getting dark and should be serviced in the near future. All of the other vehicle fluids, tune-up items, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. The front brakes have approx. 70% remaining The rear brakes have approx. 50% remaining

    • Inspected and Found – We found the battery was completely dead, and after charging, tested poorly at 30%. After some testing, we found the PCM was disabling the starting system due to having an incorrect security key. With the correct key, the vehicle now starts and runs as it should.
    • Lube, Oil, Filter
    • COOLING SYSTEM – Clean & Flush – [DOES NOT include R&R hoses and thermostat.]
    • Inspected & Found – The transmission and power steering fluids are getting dark. The coolant is cloudy with particulates floating in it. These fluids should be serviced. The oil pan is leaking as well. All of the other vehicle fluids are full and in good condition. The tune up items, and belts are in poor condition. The coolant hoses are in good condition. Front brakes are at about 60%. Rear brakes are at about 40%.

    • Inspected and Found – Found Codes stored in system P0018-Crankshaft/Camshaft correlation and P000D-Cam position slow response. Cleared codes and none returned. Variable cam timing system is working normally right now. Engine oil condition can cause these codes to set, spoke with customer who said they had just done the oil change. Recommend driving vehicle to see if codes persist.
