Inspected and Found – After disassembling the interior, to gain access to the affected connectors on the Smart Junction Box, we found the horn wire was completely disconnected due to corrosion. We have repaired this wire, as well as 2 other wires that would have been an issue in the future, and everything is working as it should again.

Inspected and Found – We found codes P0171 (System Too Lean), P0300 (Random Cyl. Misfire), P0302 (Cyl # 2 Misfire), P0303 (Cyl # 3 Misfire), P0304 (Cyl # 4 Misfire), P0316 (Misfire On Start-up), P0455 (EVAP Large Leak), P0457 (EVAP Large Leak), and P0704 (Clutch Switch Input Circuit). There is a dead miss on cylinders 3 & 4. We replaced the spark plugs and wires due to age, but there was no change. We tested the rest of the ignition components and found no issues. We took a fuel sample at the rail and noticed that the fuel was contaminated. We will need to remove the tank, clean and flush the tank and fuel lines, and replace the fuel filter. We will also put a fuel water treatment in to help clean out any residual that may be still in the system. The fuel pump ring was not seated to the tank leaving a gap. There was also a tank vent nipple that was broken. This was a part of a larger line and we were able to repair in. The fuel filler neck was loose in the mount at the bed.

Inspected and Found – The front brakes are at about 50% remaining. The rear brakes are at about 30%. The right front brakes were dragging. We opened the bleeder screw on that caliper, and the brakes released. The right front brake hose has failed and will need to be replaced. After replacing the hoses, we found the ABS hydraulic control unit has failed and will need to be replaced.

Inspected & Found – All of the vehicle fluids, tune up items, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition. There was a bad noise on acceleration above 2500 RPM. We found the air duct at the lower air cleaner box was loose/worn, and rattling. We were able to secure it with some foam to hold it tight.

Inspected and Found – We did not hear any whipping noise, but did notice a bearing noise above 20mph. The right front wheel bearing is noisy. Recommend a new wheel bearing and integrated wheel end to correct this issue. We also found the ABS and Traction Control lights on. We found codes C116A (Pressure Transducer/Brake Switch Mismatch), C1440 (Pressure Difference Between Brake Circuits), and C1963 (Stability Inhibit Warning). This will likely need an ABS Control Module to correct these issues.
