    • Inspected and Found – We found codes P0101 (MAF Sensor Performance), P0540 (Intake Heater Circuit), P0038 (Turbo Control Position Not Learned), P0405 (EGR), P0674, P0676, and P0678 (Glow Plug Cylinders 4,6, & 8). Codes P0101, P0540, P003A, and P0405 all reset after clearing. Code P003A: All of the circuits and signals test good. Diagnosis leads to replacement of the turbo. This could also cause the smoking and code P0101. The engine temperature fluctuates a lot. The temperature difference across the radiator is too high. We suspect a restricted radiator, but the fluctuation is consistent with what we have seen from aftermarket thermostats. Recommend starting with OE thermostats, but if the problem persists, then it will need a new radiator.
    • Inspected & Found – The transfer case rear output seal is leaking. All of the other vehicle fluids, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. Front and rear brakes are all at about 70% remaining.
