- Inspected and Found – We found codes P0030, P0053, and P0135. These are all upstream O2 sensor heater circuit codes. The PCM expects to see active O2 sensor readings within a certain time frame. Due to the heater circuit not functioning correctly, the PCM is not getting accurate readings in the expected time frame, and reacts to inaccurate readings, causing the engine to die. It restarts back up and will continue the cycle until the accurate readings are detected. It will need a new upstream O2 sensor to correct this issue.
