Inspected and Found – We found wiring has been damaged and pulled out of the passenger side headlight connector. We will need to replace the connector to fix this issue. All of the ball joints and steering gear box sector shaft have play. There is a very slight amount of play in the drag link, and the front axle u-joints appear to be original equipment.

Inspected & Found – The transfer case fluid is getting dark and should be serviced in the near future. All of the other vehicle fluids, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. Both front and rear brakes have approx. 80% remaining Both batteries are weak and should be replaced.

Inspected and Found – Found Codes stored in system P0018-Crankshaft/Camshaft correlation and P000D-Cam position slow response. Cleared codes and none returned. Variable cam timing system is working normally right now. Engine oil condition can cause these codes to set, spoke with customer who said they had just done the oil change. Recommend driving vehicle to see if codes persist.

there. Drove up to the shop and we pulled codes P0706 & P0707. Cleared, but they came right back. Inspected and Found – We found codes P0706 (Transmission Range Sensor Performance), P0707 (Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Low), P1702 (Transmission Range Sensor Intermittent), and P1921 (Transmission Range Signal). Currently, none of the codes are setting, but the transmission range sensor will need to be replaced and reprogrammed to prevent any of the codes from returning.

Inspected & Found – The transfer case fluid is getting dark and should be serviced in the near future. A coolant flush, tune-up, and rear differential service are all due at 100k miles. All of the other vehicle fluids, belts, and coolant hoses are in good condition at this time. Both front and rear brakes have approx. 10% remaining The TPMS light is currently on will need to go to a tire shop to clear it.

All of the lights on the rear, except the license plate lights are working. We replaced the license plate light bulbs and they are working now. Inspected and Found – We found and cleared codes P0300 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected) and P1800 (VIAS Control Solenoid Valve). Code P0300 returned due to cylinder 4 misfiring continuously from the spark plug having a heavy amount of oil ash deposit on it. We recommend replacing the spark plugs, but may need to replace the valve covers as well if we find oil down in the spark plug tubes, from failed valve cover tube seals.
